It is the early XXth century when Dr. Quintero is involved in an absurd and atrocious experiment to prove the existence of life beyond death. Quintero is a timid member of the Samper Hospital, a sanitarium dedicated to treat tuberculosis. The work at the place is dull and the only thing that gives meaning to his life is his lust for Miss. Mendez, the head nurse, who is also sought-after by other doctors. Meanwhile, the hospital’s bosses conduct a monstrous experiment: in order to scientifically prove the existence of life beyond death, they propose the beheading of innocent townspeople with the use of a sophisticated guillotine. Dr. Quintero is forced by circumstance to lead the experiment in order to beat his rivals and win Mendez’s love.
